Job Title: We are looking for a strong, precise, and experienced senior accountant to manage and monitor general accounting operations through controlling and verifying financial transactions. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal control. This role is important to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial data and support business decisions. Responsibilities: - Cash management - Bank reconciliations. - Booking and reconciling loans and bank facilities. - Accounting and recording: ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS). - Performing monthly and annual closing operations. - Reconciling general budget accounts and resolving discrepancies. - Reviewing and supervising the work of junior accountants. - Maintaining and improving internal control procedures. - Coordinating audits and providing required information to external auditors. - Assisting in preparing tax returns and compliance (corporate income tax, VAT/GST, etc.). - Collaborating with teams across departments to provide financial insights. - Supporting budget and forecasting-related processes as needed. - Any additional requirements provided by the manager or director. Qualifications: - 57+ years of experience in accounting, including senior or leadership roles. - MBA or CMA/CPA/ACCA preferred. - Strong knowledge of accounting regulations and financial reporting. - Proficiency in accounting software (such as Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle, QuickBooks, NetSuite). - Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modeling). - Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. - Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. - Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
