About the Consultant IAM Role at Elm Company

Elm Company is seeking a Consultant IAM Job to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is integral to the company's commitment to secure, scalable, and reliable enterprise platforms. The role involves a focus on platform engineering capabilities, integrating essential infrastructure services, identity and access management (IAM), and robust security controls.

Role Purpose and Scope

The primary purpose of this role is to design, build, and operate secure, scalable, and reliable platform engineering capabilities that facilitate efficient application development and deployment. The Consultant IAM will ensure high availability, compliance, and operational excellence by integrating infrastructure services, identity and access management, and comprehensive security controls across all enterprise platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain internal platforms that support application development, deployment, and operations, enabling development teams through standardized environments and automation.
  • Implement and operate infrastructure services including compute, storage, networking, and cloud platforms, ensuring their availability, scalability, and performance.
  • Ensure high availability and resilience of platforms through monitoring, incident management, proactive maintenance, and the implementation of business continuity (BCP) and disaster recovery strategies.
  • Manage Identity and Access Management (IAM) platforms (*, SailPoint), including identity lifecycle, provisioning, and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).
  • Implement access governance practices such as certification campaigns and access reviews, and integrate IAM solutions with enterprise systems and cloud services.
  • Support Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions (*, CyberArk) for managing privileged accounts and securing access.
  • Monitor and audit user and privileged activities to ensure compliance and security, enforcing access control policies including segregation of duties (SoD).
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts and CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployments and enhance platform efficiency through infrastructure-as-code.
  • Implement monitoring tools to track platform health, availability, and performance, responding to incidents and analyzing root causes for preventive measures.
  • Collaborate with development teams, cybersecurity, and operations for platform integration and provide technical guidance for secure and optimized platform usage.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of 5 to 10 years of professional experience in IAM, platform engineering, or a closely related field.
  • Proven experience in designing, building, and operating secure, scalable, and reliable platforms.
  • Demonstrated expertise with IAM platforms (*, SailPoint) and PAM solutions (*, CyberArk).
  • Familiarity with infrastructure services, cloud platforms, and DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code.
  • Strong understanding of system reliability, availability, and business continuity strategies.

Compliance and Operational Standards

The Consultant IAM will ensure adherence to all relevant departmental policies, processes, and standard operating procedures. This includes complying with all relevant safety, quality, and environmental management policies, as well as information security practices and standards to ensure data integrity and confidentiality. The role also involves supporting audit activities and ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks such as ISO 27001 and NCA.
