Job Description

About the Role

Prince Sultan University in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, is seeking a Coordinator for a full-time position. This role involves contributing to the planning and execution of community service programs and initiatives, ensuring operational requirements are met, and coordinating various activities within the Community Service Center.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the planning and implementation of Community Service Center programs and initiatives, and monitor their operational requirements.
  • Coordinate community service opportunities through the National Platform for Volunteer Work, track registration requests, and verify applicant eligibility.
  • Coordinate with community service coordinators in university departments and monitor the implementation of initiatives according to plans and deadlines.
  • Collect and verify community contribution evidence, complete documentation procedures, and close opportunities in line with approved processes.
  • Prepare official correspondence, meeting minutes, and periodic reports, and monitor related costs and procedures.
  • Update participant, beneficiary, and partner databases, and organize and archive initiative files.
  • Coordinate with relevant departments regarding opportunity announcements, logistical needs, and evaluation questionnaires.
  • Collect and analyze performance data, and prepare statistical summaries to support the monitoring of initiative outcomes.
  • Receive and respond to inquiries according to approved procedures, and escalate matters requiring guidance to the center's management.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in English Language, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in both Arabic and English, spoken and written, with the ability to prepare official correspondence and reports in both languages.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, and electronic form tools.
  • Experience in coordinating community programs and initiatives or managing volunteer work is preferred.
  • Familiarity with the National Platform for Volunteer Work, including mechanisms for posting opportunities, managing registration requests, and documenting contributions, is preferred.
  • 0-1 years of experience is required for this role.

Required Skills

  • Ability to organize initiatives and events, prepare implementation plans, and monitor tasks and deadlines.
  • Communication and coordination skills with faculty members, students, university administrations, and external entities.
  • Accuracy in data entry and verification, record and document management, and maintaining confidentiality.
  • Ability to prepare statistics and periodic reports, monitor performance indicators, and measure beneficiary satisfaction.
  • Ability to manage priorities and efficiently complete multiple tasks within specified deadlines.
  • Initiative, responsibility, teamwork, and adherence to approved regulations and procedures.
  • Willingness to participate in organizing field visits and events both inside and outside the university as required by work.

Candidate Evaluation Process

Candidates will undergo a personal interview and a practical test to assess their English language proficiency, computer skills, ability to draft official correspondence, and data organization abilities.
