Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare the projects’ cost baseline at commencement.
• Monitor direct costs related to company resources and staff.
• Compare purchase orders/agreements against estimated costs.
• Analyze actual costs against earned value and propose corrective actions for any deviations.
• Document any cost deviations in detail.
• Verify suppliers’ and subcontractors’ payment requests.
• Assist in maximizing invoiced amounts with the project team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Cost Control Engineer in the construction industry, particularly in Gulf countries.
• Proficient in cost estimation, budgeting, and financial analysis.
• Strong understanding of construction project management principles.
• Familiar with industry-standard software for cost control and project management.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in Arabic is highly desirable.

Education and Experience Requirements:

- 10 to 15+ years of experience in project cost control engineering, with 5 years in a large company.
- Experience working in the KSA/GCC region is highly recommended.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

• Proven experience in project cost control and engineering.
• Knowledge of project management and construction markets.
• Familiarity with various estimating methods and principles.
