About the Role:
As an L3 Data and Endpoint Security Engineer at DXC Technology, you will play a pivotal role in managing and securing data protection and endpoint defense solutions. You will be an integral member of our team, ensuring that our security protocols are robust and effective.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Advanced Technical Support & Escalation Management: Serve as the final escalation point for complex incidents across data and endpoint security technologies. Conduct in-depth troubleshooting and root cause analysis, implementing long-term corrective measures.
  • System Design, Configuration & Optimization: Architect and optimize security configurations for data protection and endpoint defense solutions, overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of security policies.
  • Incident Response & Continuous Improvement: Lead responses to critical security events, conducting post-incident reviews and developing strategies to mitigate emerging threats.
  • Technical Leadership & Mentorship: Mentor L2 engineers and junior staff, providing guidance, training, and documentation of advanced procedures.
  • Governance & Compliance: Ensure that all security operations align with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in security engineering focused on data and endpoint security.
  • Demonstrated expertise in DLP/NDLP, DRM, database activity monitoring, and various endpoint security technologies.

Desired Skills & Certifications:
  • Advanced security certifications (*, CISSP, CISM).
  • Vendor-specific certifications relevant to data and endpoint security solutions.

Working Conditions:
This is a full-time role with standard hours and potential on-call responsibilities. You will thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with opportunities for global collaboration, occasionally working extended hours during critical incidents.

Your Day as a Data Center Engineer L1
We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Data Center Engineer L1 responsible for servers, storage, HCI, backup implementation, and support. You will assist in the deployment and troubleshooting of compute, storage, and data protection issues under the supervision of senior engineers.
