About the Role

Asteri Beauty is seeking a Demand Supply Planner to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is integral to optimizing supply chain operations by aligning demand forecasting with supply planning. The role requires developing accurate forecasts, managing inventory effectively, and ensuring product availability across various channels within the dynamic beauty market.

This position involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including finance, marketing, supply chain, and sales, to ensure demand plans are aligned with overarching business strategies. The Demand Supply Planner will contribute to driving efficiency and accuracy within planning processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage 12-18 month demand forecasts at the channel, category, account, and item levels, recommending actions to achieve target levels.
• Lead monthly Integrated Business Planning (IBP) / Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) forecast reviews and participate in cross-functional meetings to ensure alignment between demand forecasts and business strategies.
• Analyze historical sales data, market trends, and promotional activities to assess product and category performance, ensuring trends are accurately captured in item-level demand plans, including base item and promotional forecasting.
• Conduct event planning and perform weekly/monthly performance analysis and insights to inform demand planning.
• Perform root cause analysis on forecast variances and implement corrective actions to improve forecast accuracy.
• Build ideal stock levels by location, considering supply reaction times and all relevant lead times.
• Ensure stock availability by location, managing inbound warehouse replenishment from suppliers, outbound store replenishment, and outbound sell-in to B2B customers.
• Manage inventory levels, including proposing stock liquidation strategies to avoid overstock situations by location.
• Plan supply for new product introductions (novelties) in close collaboration with the New Products Development and Marketing teams.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Supply Chain, Demand Planning, Business Administration, or an equivalent field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in demand planning, specifically within the Beauty or FMCG industries.
• Strong process-focused communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of forecasting tools, methodologies, and best practices, with an understanding of the financial and operational impacts on process partners.
• Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, with advanced Excel experience.
• Proficiency in English.
