About the Role

Leylaty Group is seeking a dedicated and organized Storekeeper to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is integral to the efficient operation of our hospitality, banqueting, and restaurant services. The Storekeeper will be responsible for managing all inventory items, ensuring accurate stock levels, maintaining up-to-date records, and guaranteeing the availability of materials to support daily operations while minimizing waste and losses.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and verify all incoming goods against purchase orders and delivery notes, ensuring products meet quality standards and company specifications before acceptance.
  • Organize and store inventory items in designated locations, adhering to proper storage procedures and maintaining cleanliness, safety, and organization of all storage areas.
  • Ensure proper temperature and storage conditions are maintained for food, beverages, and other sensitive products, following company health, safety, and hygiene standards.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records within the designated inventory management system.
  • Monitor stock levels and promptly report any shortages, overstock situations, or discrepancies to management.
  • Issue products, supplies, food ingredients, beverages, and operational materials to various departments based on approved requisitions.
  • Maintain meticulous documentation for all stock movements to ensure traceability and accountability.
  • Strictly adhere to FIFO (First In, First Out) and FEFO (First Expired, First Out) inventory practices to manage stock rotation effectively.
  • Monitor expiry dates of all inventory items and coordinate the timely disposal or return of expired products.
  • Conduct regular stock counts, including daily, weekly, and monthly counts, to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Assist in periodic inventory audits and reconciliations, investigating any inventory variances and reporting findings to management.
  • Coordinate effectively with the Purchasing, Finance, Kitchen, Banquet Operations, and Restaurant Management teams regarding inventory requirements and status.
  • Prepare comprehensive inventory reports, stock consumption reports, and variance reports for management review.
  • Support cost-control initiatives through diligent and effective inventory management practices.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Storekeeper is essential, with a preference for experience within the hospitality sector, including hotels, catering, banqueting, or restaurant operations.
  • Proficiency in using inventory management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • A solid understanding of food safety regulations, proper storage procedures, and effective stock control methods.
  • Strong organizational and record-keeping skills are necessary for maintaining accurate inventory data.
  • The ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Mandatory proficiency in English, with the ability to speak, read, and write effectively.
  • A valid driving license is mandatory.
  • Must be able to drive company vehicles when required for operational needs.
