The Role: DevOps Engineer

Starways is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time role involves hands-on work with strong cloud and automation experience, focusing on building, managing, and optimizing modern application platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and support cloud environments, primarily Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). Experience with AWS is considered an advantage.
• Configure and maintain GitLab projects, repositories, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Design, automate, and support deployment pipelines for applications such as .NET, Laravel, and other modern technologies.
• Collaborate with developers, QA, Business Analysts, and infrastructure teams to enhance software delivery processes.
• Implement DevOps best practices across planning, security, testing, CI/CD, monitoring, and operations.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and/or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). Experience with AWS is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of GitLab and CI/CD principles.
• Preferred experience with Linux, scripting, containers (Docker/Kubernetes), and Infrastructure as Code.
• Demonstrated strong problem-solving, automation, and collaboration skills.

Experience Level

This role is suitable for candidates with 0-1 years of experience in a relevant DevOps or cloud engineering capacity.
