Marketing & Customer Engagement Executive


Role Overview

District is seeking a Marketing & Customer Engagement Executive to own digital communication, social publishing, and customer interaction across our platforms — with a primary focus on District Flowers.

You will be responsible for translating offers, campaigns, and product launches into compelling content while actively managing engagement and conversation across social platforms.

This is an execution-focused marketing role with strong writing and engagement ownership.


Primary Responsibilities

1. Social Media Publishing & Ownership

  • Own day-to-day publishing across Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat (as applicable)

  • Plan and execute story sequences that support offers and campaigns

  • Ensure posting consistency and quality control

  • Maintain alignment between content, campaigns, and business priorities


2. Copywriting & Messaging

  • Write captions, hooks, and short-form scripts

  • Craft offer announcements and promotional messaging

  • Adapt tone for different audiences (retail, wholesale, reseller)

  • Ensure clarity in product communication (no vague or confusing language)


3. Customer Engagement & Community Management

  • Respond to DMs and comments in a timely and professional manner

  • Convert inquiries into leads where applicable

  • Identify frequently asked questions and coordinate improvements

  • Maintain a consistent and brand-aligned tone in all interactions


4. Campaign Support

  • Support campaign rollouts 

  • Coordinate with visual production to align visuals and messaging

  • Ensure storytelling is cohesive across posts and stories

  • Support basic performance tracking (what worked, what didn’t)

Skills & Profile

Required:

  • Strong Arabic & English writing skills

  • Experience managing social media accounts professionally

  • Strong understanding of customer behavior and persuasion

  • Ability to work fast and make decisions

  • Comfortable handling real-time customer communication

Preferred:

  • Experience in retail, F&B, or e-commerce

  • Experience with WhatsApp Business or CRM-based customer handling

  • Familiarity with analytics basics (engagement rate, reach, saves)
