About the Role

Gulf Business Machines PND is seeking a Digital Security - Senior Managing Consultant for a full-time position in Riyadh. This role involves assessing and developing customer relationships, alongside the security design and implementation of digital security services for clients in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The position requires demonstrated thought leadership, delivery expertise, and a comprehensive understanding of cloud-native, hybrid, and third-party security controls.

Role Focus and Client Support

This role primarily focuses on assisting IBM clients with their transformation in Cloud Security, Identity and Access Management (IAM), and securing cloud workloads. The scope covers various service models deployed across private, public, hybrid, and multi-cloud environments, both off and on-premises. Expertise with major hyperscalers such as Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Google Cloud Platform is essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all activities related to delivering digital security solutions throughout client engagements.
• Provide consulting services, including facilitating workshops, delivering presentations, producing high-quality deliverables, and managing large delivery engagements.
• Offer leadership support for solutions, consult with colleagues, manage the technical team, and align client requirements with IBM's solutions.
• Create and deliver solution elements for Cloud & Data Security and IAM proposals, encompassing administrative, operational, or technical aspects.
• Support the definition and creation of solutions that meet client requirements.
• Understand the client's digital security posture, including their drivers, risk appetite, and legal, regulatory, and compliance needs.
• Provide visibility and understanding of the functional and non-functional requirements of solutions.
• Assist client-facing colleagues in responding to requests for proposals.
• Architect and deliver cloud-native solutions, blueprints, security measures, and deployment models for IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS across hyperscalers, utilizing an agile approach and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Collaborate with global and local teams to organize project approaches and teams for client delivery.
• Help resolve program issues with senior leadership.
• Establish strong client relationships to advance the Security Services portfolio.

Practice Development and Contribution

• Contribute content and advice to the offering development process.
• Assist in establishing capability and skills models for the core domain and partner with the wider team to develop expertise.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree.
• Cloud Certification in at least one hyperscaler; security specialist certifications are preferred.
• At least one leading security certification such as CISA, CISSP, or CISM.
• Working experience with industry compliance and security standards including KSA NCA ECC, CSA CSM, PCI DSS, ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS.
• Experience in conducting security architecture and configuration reviews using Zero Trust Security principles to identify gaps and produce assessment reports.
• Extensive knowledge in security solutions such as IAM, Data Protection, and Cloud Security.
• Ability to develop high-quality security project design documentation.
• Working experience with cloud service models (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), infrastructure, and technology.
• Background knowledge of KSA NCA ECC and other cloud-related regulations and standards (*, ISO/IEC 27001, ISO/IEC 27018).
• Extensive track record in delivering large-scale, complex, multi-year security transformation programs/projects in various capacities (*, cloud security architect, senior delivery/technical lead).
• Experience working across diverse teams to facilitate solutions.
• Readiness to travel 25-50%.
• At least 5 years of experience in international deployment roles and client engagement on hybrid/multi-cloud security.
• At least 8 years of experience in security consulting and/or architecture roles.
• A minimum of 10 years of overall experience in IT and Cyber Security.
• Fluent in English.
