About the Role

Qiddiya, Saudi Arabia’s flagship entertainment, sports, and culture destination located near Riyadh in the Riyadh Province, is seeking a Director - Marketing. As a key component of Vision 2030, Qiddiya is a large-scale development encompassing over 360 km2, designed to feature world-class attractions including a Formula 1-grade racetrack, theme parks, major sports venues, and performance spaces. Role Purpose and Scope

The Director - Marketing will lead the development and execution of marketing and audience growth strategies specifically for Qiddiya’s Cultural, Heritage Program. The primary objective is to drive visitor numbers, enhance engagement, and improve commercial performance through integrated campaigns. These efforts must align with the cultural programming calendar and the overall objectives of the assets within the program.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with asset objectives, programming schedules, and commercial targets.
  • Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social media, traditional media, public relations, and on-ground activations.
  • Ensure marketing plans support key programming milestones, including the Cultural, Heritage Program festival and year-round activities.
  • Define messaging frameworks and campaign narratives to effectively communicate cultural programming to target audiences.
  • Drive visitor acquisition, attendance, and repeat visitation across all target segments, developing tailored strategies for local, regional, and international audiences.
  • Manage audience segmentation, targeting, and conversion strategies to optimize marketing efforts for increased footfall, dwell time, and engagement.
  • Collaborate with Programming to translate cultural content into engaging campaigns and storytelling, ensuring authenticity and diversity are reflected.
  • Align marketing campaigns with the visitor journey and on-ground experience.
  • Support the Commercial team in promoting sponsorships, partnerships, and revenue-generating activities, ensuring effective integration into marketing communications.
  • Define, track, and analyze marketing KPIs, including reach, engagement, conversion, and attendance, optimizing strategies based on data and insights.
  • Ensure consistency of messaging and communications across all marketing channels, coordinating with internal stakeholders and managing external agencies and vendors.
  • Align marketing strategy with Asset Management direction and coordinate with Qiddiya Group marketing and communications functions, ensuring compliance with group standards.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess 12–15+ years of experience, with a strong track record in senior marketing leadership roles within large-scale, consumer-facing environments. Proven experience in developing and delivering integrated marketing strategies and large-scale campaigns across multiple channels is essential. Demonstrated success in leading high-impact campaigns that drive significant audience reach, engagement, and attendance is required. Strong experience in audience acquisition, segmentation, and growth strategies, with a proven ability to drive footfall, visitation, and repeat attendance in large-scale environments, is necessary. Experience managing campaigns targeting local, regional, and international audiences is also required.

The role demands demonstrated ability to link marketing activities to commercial outcomes, including revenue growth and partner value, with experience supporting sponsorship visibility and monetization through campaigns. A strong understanding of marketing KPIs, including conversion, engagement, and revenue contribution, is crucial. Experience utilizing data analytics and audience insights to drive decision-making, alongside the ability to monitor and optimize campaign performance across channels, is expected. Experience with performance marketing, digital analytics, and reporting frameworks is also required.
