Director of Account Management

About the Role

Merit Incentives is seeking a Director of Account Management to lead strategic enterprise accounts in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role focuses on strengthening client retention and driving sustainable revenue growth within key accounts. The position requires 5-10 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Account Management team.
• Manage key enterprise relationships and executive-level engagement.
• Drive retention, renewals, upselling, and cross-selling initiatives.
• Build account growth plans aligned with revenue and profitability targets.
• Oversee client projects from requirements gathering through integration, testing, and go-live phases.
• Collaborate with Sales, Technology, Operations, Product, and Partnerships teams.
• Monitor account performance, client satisfaction, identify risks, and commercial opportunities.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Saudi National – mandatory requirement.
• 8+ years of experience in Account Management, Customer Success, or B2B commercial roles.
• Proven experience leading Account Management teams and strategic enterprise portfolios.
• Strong record of achieving revenue growth, retention, and profitability targets.
• Solid project management experience.
• Good understanding of IT solutions, APIs, system integrations, testing, and production environments.
• Experience in loyalty and rewards solutions, including offers, gift cards, digital marketplaces, points exchange, direct points redemption, reward catalogues, and merchant integrations.
• Experience with banks, airlines, telecom, government, or large enterprise clients is preferred.

Skills and Attributes

• Strong leadership, negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Fluent in both Arabic and English.
