Role Overview

The Executive - Communications and Project Management functions as a junior project manager, responsible for the oversight and execution of ongoing company projects. This role is integral to ensuring that all project requirements, deadlines, and schedules are maintained. The Executive plays a lead role in planning campaigns, managing resources, monitoring progress, and ensuring quality control from inception to project closure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Aligning project timelines with the creative services manager.
  • Organizing and managing client projects from concept approval through to completion, in collaboration with Project Managers and communication consultants.
  • Identifying and resolving issues to enhance process efficiencies and reduce costs.
  • Sourcing and engaging freelancers as required for project needs.
  • Developing and implementing effective project communication plans (PCPs) and ensuring their timely execution.
  • Monitoring project progress and proactively addressing potential obstacles.
  • Conducting post-project evaluations to identify successful and unsuccessful elements through status reports.
  • Submitting project deliverables and ensuring adherence to quality standards.
  • Managing change requests and informing all stakeholders of impacts on schedule and budget.
  • Enforcing project deadlines and maintaining efficiency across all involved teams.
  • Coordinating and scheduling project-related meetings.
  • Assigning tasks and responsibilities to Project Managers and traffic personnel.
  • Fostering effective communication among team members.

Reporting Structure and Team Collaboration

The Executive - Communications and Project Management reports to the Communications and Project Manager and Director. This role involves close collaboration with communication consultants and the creative services manager, serving as a core team member across the four key pillars: strategy, creative, content hub, and production.
