Facility Management Director

About the Role

Egis (KSA) is seeking a Facility Management Director to provide strategic, technical, and operational leadership for the full lifecycle management of built and natural assets. This permanent position is based in Riyadh and requires extensive experience in managing complex, multi-site environments.

Role Overview

The Director of Facilities Management will oversee the planning, mobilisation, operation, and continuous improvement of all Facilities Management (FM) and Landscape Operations & Maintenance (O&M) services across a complex, multi-site programme. The role ensures world-class service delivery, promotes best-practice asset management, and acts as a senior advisor to executive leadership, government agencies, and various stakeholders. This position is responsible for providing overall Landscape Operations and Maintenance support to RCRC throughout the lifecycle of all programme components.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive FM and Landscape O&M strategies aligned with corporate objectives.
• Establish governance frameworks, performance management systems, SLAs, and KPIs for all FM disciplines.
• Lead strategic asset management planning, including lifecycle cost modelling and capital replacement strategies.
• Provide expert guidance across the full asset lifecycle: design review, mobilisation, operation, maintenance, optimisation, and decommissioning.
• Direct the mobilisation of FM and O&M contracts, establish operational readiness programmes, and oversee contractor performance.
• Lead the development of procurement strategies, technical documentation, and RFPs for FM and O&M services.
• Manage the full tendering process, including bid evaluation, negotiation, and contract award.
• Maintain full budgetary and financial control, ensuring accurate cost forecasting, contract variations, and risk/opportunity tracking.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, statutory, environmental, and HSE requirements for all facilities and operations.
• Oversee the creation of risk registers, emergency preparedness plans, and business continuity strategies.
• Serve as the senior point of contact for government entities, clients, and internal stakeholders.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a multi-disciplinary team of FM, landscape, engineering, and O&M professionals.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Extensive experience of 15+ years in Facilities & Asset Management within large, complex, multi-site environments.
• Deep knowledge of Operations & Maintenance across hard services, soft services, infrastructure, and large-scale landscape environments.

Experience Level

A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience is required for this role.
