About the Role
NextMatch AI is seeking a strategic Finance Manager to oversee financial operations for its entity in Saudi Arabia. This full-time position, based in Riyadh, requires 5-10 years of experience and offers a salary of SAR 65,000 – SAR 85,000 per month, plus executive benefits. The Finance Manager will play a critical leadership role, acting as a strategic partner to the CEO and Board, ensuring efficient scaling and compliance with Saudi Arabian regulations.
Role Context and Responsibilities
The Finance Manager will be responsible for developing and maintaining the financial roadmap for NextMatch AI's expansion within Saudi Arabia and the region. This role involves ensuring total compliance with ZATCA regulations, including VAT filings and electronic invoicing requirements. The position also requires leading the annual budgeting process, providing monthly variance analysis to global leadership, and managing international fund transfers, payroll, and vendor payments across multiple currencies. Additionally, the Finance Manager will prepare high-level financial dashboards for investors and internal stakeholders, and serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors and local financial institutions.
Qualifications and Experience
Candidates should possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in Finance Management, with a preference for experience within the Tech, SaaS, or high-growth startup sectors. A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics is required. A CPA, ACCA, or CMA qualification is highly preferred. A deep understanding of Saudi labor laws, Zakat, and Saudi IFRS standards is essential for this role.
Required Skills and Competencies
Proficiency in cloud-based ERP and accounting software, such as Oracle, NetSuite, Xero, or Zoho Books, is necessary. Exceptional English and Arabic communication skills, both written and verbal, are required. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a "builder" mentality, with a proven ability to create systems and processes from the ground up.
Work Environment and Global Collaboration
This role operates within a truly international structure, requiring coordination with global offices in London, Toronto, and Dubai. The position offers exposure to a dynamic growth phase in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, aligning with Vision 2030's digital transformation initiatives in the HR Tech sector.
