About the Role

Ethra For Human Resources Consulting is seeking a Financial Reporting Manager to oversee the end-to-end financial and management reporting functions. This full-time position is based in Riyadh and requires 5-10 years of experience. The role is critical in ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial information to support decision-making, regulatory requirements, and audit processes.

Key Responsibilities

The Financial Reporting Manager will be responsible for a range of critical accounting and reporting activities. This includes:

  • Overseeing General Ledger accounting and ensuring accurate transaction recording.
  • Maintaining the chart of accounts and ensuring proper classification of entries.
  • Leading monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting processes.
  • Ensuring reporting accuracy and compliance with IFRS standards.
  • Managing the month-end close process to deliver timely financial results.
  • Serving as the primary contact for external and internal auditors.
  • Leading the preparation of audit schedules, supporting documents, and disclosures.
  • Ensuring the smooth execution of quarterly reviews and annual audits.
  • Completing and reviewing balance sheet reconciliations with timely issue resolution.
  • Delivering management reporting with variance analysis against budget and prior periods.
  • Strengthening internal controls and ensuring compliance with finance policies.
  • Driving process improvements and optimizing the close cycle.
  • Partnering with FP&A and business teams for financial data alignment.
  • Supporting finance transformation initiatives, including automation and system enhancements.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this role must possess the following qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 7 to 10+ years of experience in financial reporting, General Ledger, or audit.
  • SOCPA certification is required.
  • CA or CPA certification is preferred.

Required Skills and Knowledge

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong command of:

  • Financial statement preparation.
  • Managing audit processes.
  • Advanced Excel and SAP / ERP systems.
  • IFRS, zakat, withholding tax, and financial reporting principles.
  • Leadership and team management.
  • Strong English communication skills.

Experience in the pharmaceutical or manufacturing industry is preferred but not mandatory.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position located in Riyadh.
