About the Role

Multilink Management Consultants is seeking a dedicated Food Safety Officer to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is primarily focused on ensuring stringent food safety standards within the Oil & Gas / Industrial Projects industry, specifically at project catering facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at project catering facilities.
• Conduct regular inspections of kitchens, food storage areas, dining facilities, and food preparation areas.
• Monitor food handling, storage temperatures, personal hygiene, and sanitation practices.
• Implement and maintain HACCP and food safety management procedures.
• Conduct food safety audits and prepare inspection reports.
• Identify food safety hazards and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Monitor pest control, cleaning, waste management, and water quality requirements.
• Conduct food safety training and awareness sessions for catering staff.
• Maintain records related to food safety inspections, temperature monitoring, hygiene checks, and corrective actions.
• Coordinate with catering, HSE, and project management teams to maintain required food safety standards.
• Ensure compliance with Saudi regulations and client/project food safety requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Food Safety, Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in food safety, preferably within Oil & Gas, camps, industrial catering, or large-scale catering operations.
• Saudi or GCC experience is preferred.

Required Skills and Certifications

• Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMP, food hygiene, and food safety standards.
• HACCP/ISO 22000 or relevant Food Safety certification is preferred.
• Good communication, inspection, reporting, and auditing skills.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position that requires the ability to work effectively in remote project and camp environments. The role involves ensuring food safety across various facilities within industrial settings.
