About the Role

Al Barakat Group is seeking a General Services & Facilities Specialist to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time position is within the Business Development Management department and is critical for overseeing operational processes, maintenance, and general services. The specialist will play a key role in enhancing operational efficiency and supporting the company's strategic expansion and development plans.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise the improvement of the overall appearance of showrooms, ensuring the application of high standards for cleanliness and quality through periodic monitoring plans.
  • Oversee the preparation and opening of new showrooms, including decor, electrical systems, air conditioning, and signage installation, in accordance with defined timelines.
  • Manage and monitor preventive and emergency maintenance activities for all company branches and facilities.
  • Supervise external service contracts, including those with cleaning, maintenance, and operations companies, and monitor the performance, task distribution, and evaluation of personnel.
  • Develop and improve support mechanisms and services for the supply and execution of work orders for branches both within and outside the Kingdom.
  • Oversee the operation and management of the vehicle fleet, organize routes, and monitor periodic maintenance, inspection, and renewal processes.
  • Manage company-owned accommodations, residential complexes, and properties, establishing clear mechanisms for handover, delivery, maintenance, and follow-up.
  • Coordinate with the Human Resources department to provide and distribute uniforms for branch employees according to approved policies.
  • Supervise the development of maintenance and decor departments to ensure the execution of work to the highest quality standards.
  • Monitor and execute internal purchases related to operational requirements.
  • Oversee the implementation of operational and developmental projects in line with the company's approved plans.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • A minimum of 5 to 7 years of practical experience in operations management, facilities management, or general services management.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing work teams and achieving operational efficiency.

Required Skills

  • High-level negotiation skills and proven ability to manage relationships with suppliers and contractors.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and priority management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple sites and operational projects simultaneously.

Work Environment and Type

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role is integral to the Business Development Management department, supporting the company's operational excellence and growth initiatives across its various facilities and branches.
