About the Role
SimCorp is seeking a Government Relations & Administration Officer to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time position is open to Saudi nationals and plays a crucial role in managing the organization's interactions with Saudi government entities and ensuring compliance with local regulations. Role Overview and Importance
The Government Relations & Administration Officer is a key administrative and compliance function. This role is responsible for overseeing all engagements with Saudi government bodies, ministries, and regulatory authorities on behalf of SimCorp. The primary objective is to ensure the company adheres strictly to Saudi labor law, immigration regulations, and all other governmental requirements. Additionally, this position provides essential administrative support to the Legal team, particularly concerning office-related document renewals, and assists with general administrative duties as required.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and operate Saudi government online portals including Absher, Qiwa, Mudad, GOSI, HRSD, and MISA.
- Submit, track, and follow up on applications, transactions, and service requests through official government systems.
- Maintain up-to-date access credentials and ensure timely renewal of portal accounts and digital certificates.
- Monitor regulatory announcements and portal updates to ensure organizational compliance.
- Monitor Nitaqat status to ensure the company maintains an appropriate Saudization tier.
- Coordinate and process various visa types, including work visas, business visas, dependent entry visas, and exit/re-entry visas.
- Maintain accurate records of all employee visa statuses.
- Attend government offices physically when necessary, such as the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (MHRSD), Jawazat (Passport Department), Ministry of Commerce, and Traffic Police.
- Accompany expatriate employees for medical checks, fingerprinting, or other official procedures during onboarding.
- Provide administrative support for the renewal of office-related documents, including Commercial Registration (CR), Municipal License, Chamber of Commerce membership, and other statutory certificates.
- Assist in the legalization, attestation, and notarization of company documents as needed.
- Coordinate with government offices for the collection and submission of official documents.
- Execute ad-hoc administrative tasks and operational assignments as directed by management.
- Coordinate with the IT department for the collection, tracking, and delivery of hardware and equipment to new hires.
- Support global People and Culture projects.
- Serve as a point of contact for new joiners, coordinating equipment handover and initial logistics.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Proven experience operating Saudi government platforms such as Absher, Qiwa, Mudad, GOSI, HRSD, and MISA.
- Strong understanding of Saudi immigration regulations, visa processing, and Iqama management.
- Familiarity with Saudi labor law, Nitaqat (Saudization), and applicable government requirements.
- Fluent in Arabic (written and spoken).
- Proficiency in English is an advantage.
- Meticulous attention to detail in document management, deadline tracking, and data accuracy.
- Ability to liaise effectively with government officials, internal teams, and external service providers.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple concurrent tasks and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment.
