Join Malaa as a Senior Graphic Designer
As our Senior Graphic Designer, you will be the visual storyteller who transforms complex wealth-management ideas into engaging graphics across various platforms including web, mobile, social media, pitch decks, and in-app education. In this role, you will own key design projects end-to-end, maintain the brand system, and mentor junior creatives, ensuring that every pixel reflects the trust and innovation our company represents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the design and production of graphics for campaigns, product launches, investor materials, and thought leadership content.
  • Evolve and enforce the brand style guide (color, typography, iconography, motion) for cohesive visuals company-wide.
  • Collaborate with the Content Lead and Product team to translate briefs into static, motion, or interactive assets.
  • Own the creative workflow, including scoping, timelines, feedback loops, and final delivery using tools like Figma and Adobe CC.
  • Conduct stakeholder reviews, incorporate feedback, A/B-test visuals, and iterate rapidly.
  • Mentor junior designers and contractors, advocating design thinking and accessibility principles.
  • Stay updated with design, fintech, and web standards trends; introduce new ideas, tools, or formats proactively.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise:
  • 2 years of professional graphic design experience.
  • A portfolio that showcases your work with brand systems, multi-channel campaigns, and data-driven storytelling.
  • Expertise in Figma and Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, & InDesign; familiarity with modern asset hand-off workflows.
  • Strong understanding of typography, layout, and color theory; data-driven design decision-making.
  • Ability to independently manage projects in a fast-paced startup setting while ensuring high-quality output.
  • Excellent communication skills in Arabic and English; comfortable presenting to both creative and non-creative stakeholders.

Nice to have:
  • Experience in motion design and micro-interactions (After Effects, Lottie, Rive).
  • Basic front-end knowledge (HTML/CSS) to work effectively with developers.
