Soar is focused on reshaping mortgage lending through a fully digital and customer-centric experience. We are seeking a Head of Credit Operations to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position.

Role Overview

As the Head of Credit Operations, you will be responsible for the seamless execution of digital credit underwriting, disbursal, and post-disbursal account maintenance processes. This role centers on operational support and process coordination to ensure efficient flow of finance files from initial application through disbursal and beyond. This includes managing real estate valuation logistics and maintaining relationships with certified property valuation agencies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and monitor the end-to-end digital credit process, including documentation verification, eligibility criteria validation, and application completeness.
  • Prepare, review, and maintain digital disbursal packages, ensuring all pre-conditions are met before the release of funds.
  • Ensure all customer documents are validated, digitized, and securely stored in accordance with data and regulatory standards.
  • Support the credit underwriting process by coordinating documentation flows, finance-to-property value verification, and finance file completeness.
  • Liaise with certified real estate evaluation agencies, manage appraisal requests, track submissions, and ensure quality and timeliness of property reports.
  • Own and maintain relationships with valuation agencies, including onboarding, performance tracking, SLA compliance, and issue resolution.
  • Collaborate with underwriting, legal, and finance teams to streamline finance operations workflows and enhance platform efficiency.
  • Conduct post-disbursal activities, such as disbursal-trench management, condition tracking, documentation follow-up, and system updates.
  • Assist in audit preparation, compliance checks, and reporting for regulatory and internal control purposes.
  • Contribute to process documentation, automation initiatives, and operational risk mitigation efforts.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in the finance management system throughout the credit lifecycle.
  • Ensure end-to-end compliance with internal credit policies and external regulatory guidelines (*, KYC, AML, mortgage-specific regulations).
  • Respond to internal and external queries regarding finance status, documentation, and process timelines.

Required Experience and Skills

Candidates should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience. The role requires precision, the ability to manage multiple workflows, and strong collaboration skills with internal teams and external partners to ensure speed, accuracy, and regulatory compliance.
