About the Head of Franchise Role

Reef Group is seeking an experienced Head of Franchise to lead and oversee franchise operations. This role is based in Riyadh and involves close collaboration with the Legal Affairs function to establish and govern franchise frameworks, manage agreements, and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. The position is full-time and requires 5-10 years of experience. Salary details are not disclosed.

Role Purpose and Expansion Support

This position is integral to the company's expansion strategy, facilitating compliant franchise growth, protecting brand integrity, and ensuring alignment between franchise partners and operational standards across various markets. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in franchise governance, contract management, and cross-functional collaboration within a growth-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage franchise operations from application evaluation through onboarding, renewals, and lifecycle management.
  • Ensure franchise agreements align with legal, commercial, and strategic objectives.
  • Monitor franchisee adherence to contractual obligations, operational standards, and brand guidelines.
  • Support trademark protection and regulatory compliance in relevant markets.
  • Prepare franchise frameworks and documentation for new market entries.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure operational readiness and alignment.
  • Identify legal and commercial risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Provide guidance to internal teams for successful franchise implementation.
  • Prepare reports on franchise performance, contractual status, and expansion opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Finance and other departments for proper structuring and execution.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 6–8 years of experience in franchise management, legal governance, or contract management.
  • Strong experience in drafting and reviewing commercial agreements.
  • Experience working across regional or international franchise environments is preferred.
