About the Role

Sharaf DG is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner – KSA to oversee HR strategy and operational execution within Saudi Arabia. This full-time position, based in Riyadh, requires a professional who can partner closely with the Country Manager – KSA to support business growth and organizational effectiveness. The role will also collaborate with the UAE Head Office HR and COE teams to ensure alignment with group HR policies and frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a strategic advisor to the Country Manager on organization design, workforce planning, and people strategy, translating business plans into HR strategies aligned with KSA market dynamics.
  • Lead end-to-end recruitment for KSA, ensuring compliance with Saudization (Nitaqat) and local hiring regulations, and build scalable recruitment frameworks for expansion.
  • Manage all employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, confirmation, transfers, promotions, and exits, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with Saudi labor law.
  • Coordinate payroll inputs, benefits administration, and HR vendor management.
  • Ensure compliance with Saudi labor law, GOSI, Qiwa, Muqeem, Mudad, and other statutory requirements, managing government inspections and regulatory interactions.
  • Drive the performance management cycle, support goal setting, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions.
  • Identify capability gaps and coordinate learning interventions, supporting leadership development and succession planning.
  • Hire, develop, and manage the HR team in KSA as the business scales, and design HR operating models to support multiple regions.
  • Collaborate with UAE HO HR & COE teams for governance and policy alignment, and partner with finance, legal, operations, and merchandising teams.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate will possess 5-10 years of progressive HR experience, with a strong preference for experience in retail or multi-site operations. Essential qualifications include:

  • Strong hands-on experience with Saudi labor law and government platforms (GOSI, Qiwa, Muqeem, Mudad).
  • Proven experience in scaling organizations and supporting rapid business expansion.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master’s degree is preferred.

Required Skills and Abilities

Successful candidates will demonstrate:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of Saudi labor laws and HR compliance frameworks.
  • A combination of strategic HRBP capability and hands-on execution skills.
  • Experience with retail or frontline workforces is preferred.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities.
  • The capacity to operate independently while ensuring alignment with group HR governance.
  • Arabic proficiency is preferred; English is mandatory.
