HS&E Staff (Saudi National)

About the Role

Parsons is seeking an HS&E Staff member, a Saudi National, to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves supporting the implementation and maintenance of Safety, Health, and Environmental (SH&E) programs across project sites, ensuring compliance with various requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist Project or Program Managers in implementing and maintaining SH&E programs across project sites.
• Support the administration and execution of site-specific SH&E plans to ensure compliance with project, client, and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct audits of projects and worksites to verify compliance with corporate standards, policies, and procedures.
• Perform regular workplace inspections to identify hazards and provide recommendations for risk control.
• Prepare and submit inspection reports, audit reports, and corrective action recommendations.
• Monitor project planning and work execution to ensure compliance with Parsons’ Environmental, Safety, Health, and Risk Program (ESHARP) requirements.
• Support the implementation of occupational injury, incident reporting, and incident management processes.
• Analyze inspection findings, audit results, and incident trends, preparing reports to support continuous improvement.
• Assist with new employee safety orientations and onboarding activities.
• Deliver SH&E training programs and promote industry best practices across project teams.
• Maintain accurate training records and safety documentation.
• Participate in routine safety briefings, toolbox talks, and workforce awareness programs.
• Coordinate with project teams, contractors, clients, and stakeholders to promote a strong safety culture.
• Support emergency preparedness activities and contribute to the continual improvement of safety performance.
• Perform other responsibilities associated with the position as required.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Safety and Health or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE/SH&E) roles.
• Working knowledge of applicable health, safety, and environmental regulations and reporting requirements.
• Knowledge of recognized safety standards and industry best practices, including ANSI, NFPA, and related standards.
• Experience conducting safety audits, inspections, hazard assessments, and incident investigations.
• Experience delivering safety training and awareness programs.
