Information Technology Team Lead

About the Role

Saudi Railway Company (SAR) is seeking an Information Technology Team Lead to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is responsible for implementing IT infrastructure projects and plans, ensuring the provision of advanced technology that aligns with the organization's scale and supports business requirements. The role focuses on delivering tools and solutions to enable business growth and meet SAR's operational needs efficiently and effectively, in accordance with established policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage user and access administration activities on designated systems and applications, adhering to defined policies, standards, and procedures.
• Oversee the installation and configuration of security systems and applications, including network security appliances and host-based security systems, and assess policy and compliance tools.
• Benchmark data center activities against international best practices to meet SAR’s specific needs and requirements.
• Monitor network and security logs, systems, and traffic to ensure the confidentiality, continuity, and availability of IT services.
• Ensure and monitor daily reporting on server, storage, and backup performance.
• Implement information security operations and activities to protect information assets while optimizing personnel and equipment use.
• Monitor, operate, support, and maintain the IT data network infrastructure.
• Investigate and resolve security violations, providing post-mortem analysis to identify issues and potential solutions.
• Develop and ensure services in response to various IT risks and threats.
• Maintain the infrastructure and security systems deployed at SAR.
• Manage and implement security awareness programs across SAR.
• Lead disaster recovery projects focused on evaluating technology application.
• Perform data recovery capacity planning in alignment with current, planned, and new initiatives within the IT Department, with a focus on proactively ensuring an adequate recovery network and IT processing environment.

Experience Requirements

Candidates should possess 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in information technology, with a focus on infrastructure and security management.

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, within the Saudi Railway Company.
