About the Role

Baker Hughes is seeking an Integrated Commercial Manager, Field Development to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Role Responsibilities

  • Develop proposals, negotiate with clients, and ensure deals deliver shareholder value and competitive pricing, which may include compiling and submitting required tender documentation.
  • Manage complex products, services, and systems requiring technical knowledge and an understanding of the operating environment, considering specific client needs that necessitate technical analysis and system design.
  • Lead the commercial structuring of integrated field development opportunities, including pricing, scope definition, contracting strategy, risk allocation, and customer value proposition.
  • Apply knowledge of E&P development practices across geology and engineering disciplines to support technically informed commercial solutions.
  • Understand the technical context of comprehensive field development plans and develop accompanying commercial frameworks aligned with client and business objectives.
  • Manage complex long-term sales processes involving pricing, terms of sale, leasing, operation, maintenance, services, integrated solutions, and other field development-related commercial arrangements.
  • Support the drafting, review, and negotiation of commercial agreements related to E&P business development, including asset acquisitions, joint operating agreements, commercial partnerships, and associated commitments.
  • Engage with key business unit clients and senior client interfaces.
  • Coordinate sales teams, including engineering, legal, risk, finance, operations, product lines, and leadership.
  • Participate in key sales and business development activities for large, complex, or strategically important opportunities.
  • Manage large or highly complex markets with significant growth potential.
  • Ensure negotiated proposals and agreements comply with internal governance, risk management, approval processes, and shareholder value expectations.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
  • Over 10 years of experience as a Commercial Advisor within an E&P business development function.
  • Over 10 years of experience in structuring commercial agreements and negotiating terms related to asset acquisitions, joint operating agreements, and associated commitments.
  • Strong knowledge of E&P development practices across geology and engineering disciplines.
  • Ability to understand the technical context of a comprehensive field development plan and structure an accompanying commercial framework.
