Job Title: Interior Architect

Job Description:
The Site Architect Engineer is responsible for supervising, coordinating, and controlling all architectural works on site, to ensure their implementation according to approved plans, technical specifications, quality standards, schedule, and safety requirements. The job requires strong site management skills, high technical expertise, and the ability to coordinate with various parties to ensure project success.


Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Supervising all architectural works on site, including finishing works, fit-out, and external works.

  • Ensuring that all works are carried out according to approved execution plans, material approvals, technical specifications, and contract documents.

  • Daily coordination with contractors, subcontractors, and other disciplines (structural, electrical, mechanical, light systems).

  • Following up on work progress and preparing daily and weekly reports for the Project Manager.

  • The job holder undertakes site field supervision tasks in addition to technical office tasks related to execution plans, material approvals, technical coordination, quantity surveying, and technical change management for the project.

  • Inspecting executed works to ensure quality of execution and compliance with the design.

  • Reviewing and approving execution plans, method statements, and material samples.

  • Creating project schedules.

  • Identifying conflicts between plans and the site reality and proposing appropriate solutions.

  • Ensuring that materials supplied to the site are approved and stored correctly.

  • Performing inspections, preparing snagging lists, and following up on their closure until final handover.

  • Coordinating with the consultant, client, and official authorities as needed.

  • Applying and monitoring Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) requirements on site.

  • Ability to prepare "As-Built" drawings and final handover documents.

  • Following up and managing works resulting from Variation Orders.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture or equivalent.

  • Professional certifications are a plus.


Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Site Architect Engineer or Site Supervisor.

  • Strong experience in finishing works, fit-out, and coordination with mechanical and electrical works.

  • Experience in residential, commercial, or governmental projects is preferred.


Technical Skills:

  • Excellent knowledge of architectural plans, execution details, and construction methods.

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, and knowledge of Revit is a plus.

  • Strong understanding of materials, finishes, and installation methods.

  • Ability to read and understand contract documents, Bills of Quantities (BOQ), and technical specifications.

  • Familiarity with quality control procedures and site inspection standards.

  • Strong leadership skills in site management.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

  • Possession of a driver's license and car.
