Role Purpose and Objectives

The primary objective of this position is to build and maintain robust Java/Spring applications and services. The developer will ensure these applications meet established performance, reliability, and security standards. Key contributions will include supporting scheduled releases through effective defect resolution and collaborative team efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications.
• Implement applications using the Spring Framework.
• Develop and integrate REST APIs.
• Contribute to Microservices implementation.
• Utilize Hibernate/JPA for data persistence.
• Interact with SQL databases, including PostgreSQL and MySQL.
• Conduct unit testing using JUnit/Mockito.
• Manage code with Git version control.
• Support CI/CD pipeline management (Jenkins/GitHub Actions).
• Participate in code reviews.
• Optimize application performance.
• Apply secure coding practices.
• Resolve defects and bugs.
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Technical Skills

• Proficiency in Java programming.
• Experience with the Spring Framework.
• Ability to develop REST APIs.
• Knowledge of SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL).
