Role Overview

Parsons Corporation is seeking a Landscape Inspector – Hard Finishes (Saudi National) to join its site-based construction supervision team. This full-time position is located in Riyadh, Ad Dir'iyah, Saudi Arabia, and is integral to a major public realm development project.

The Diriyah Project Context

The project in Diriyah encompasses the development of iconic parks, open spaces, and over 55 kilometers of streetscape. The program aims to establish a vibrant and inclusive environment that enhances livability, accessibility, and overall community well-being within the area.

Key Responsibilities

• Attend Inspection Requests (IRs) submitted by the contractor and ensure prompt action.
• Assist in reviewing submitted shop drawings against contract drawings, specifications, local codes, statutory requirements, and international best practices.
• Report any works carried out by contractors that do not comply with approved drawings and specifications to relevant stakeholders for appropriate action.
• Monitor the quality of executed works and daily progress on site.
• Maintain comprehensive records for daily site activities, including progress photos, ensuring they are readily available for inspection.
• Prepare surveillance reports for work deficiencies found at the site and Non-Conformance Reports (NCR) as required.
• Check and ensure effective coordination between discipline-related works and all other disciplines.
• Provide technical input and experience to resolve any discipline-related issues that may arise on-site.
• Inspect construction works to ensure compliance with approved methods and contract requirements.
• Maintain records of inspections and executed work.
• Assist in or measure work done when required.
• Observe site safety procedures.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Must hold a Degree in Landscape Architecture.
• A minimum of 7 years of related experience in direct landscape work.
• This position is designated for a Saudi National.
