LEED ND / GBCI / Urban Planning Expert

About the Role

Yomn is seeking a LEED ND / GBCI / Urban Planning Expert to support a mixed-use development project in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time project-based role requiring approximately 2 to 3 hours of commitment per day for the next 6-7 weeks. The position is suitable for professionals who may already hold a full-time role and are seeking additional project engagement.

Project Focus Areas

The role will primarily concentrate on two specific LEED Neighborhood Development credit areas, involving detailed analysis and documentation for GBCI review.

• Housing & Jobs Proximity: This includes assessing residential eligibility, defining an 800-meter walking catchment, conducting employment/FTE assessments, performing jobs-to-dwelling-unit tests, and preparing supporting evidence and GBCI documentation.
• Housing Types & Affordability – Housing Diversity: Responsibilities involve classifying planned and existing dwelling units into LEED housing categories, conducting a 400-meter assessment area analysis, applying the Simpson Diversity Index, and compiling supporting evidence and GBCI documentation.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience and meet most of the following criteria:

• Demonstrated experience on at least one LEED ND project that has undergone GBCI review.
• Experience with Housing & Jobs Proximity assessments.
• Experience with Housing Types & Affordability / Housing Diversity.
• Proficiency in preparing or reviewing LEED calculations, evidence, and compliance documentation.
• Experience responding to GBCI comments and managing resubmissions.

Work Arrangement and Location

The role requires immediate availability and a commitment of approximately 2 to 3 hours per day during the project period. While ideally located in Riyadh, the position allows for most work to be completed remotely. Experience in Saudi Arabia or the GCC region is a plus, but not essential.
