About the Litigation Legal Counsel Role at Keeta

Keeta is seeking a qualified and experienced Litigation Legal Counsel to join its legal team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position will primarily support various business lines on a wide range of contentious dispute matters.

Role Scope and Expectations

The Litigation Legal Counsel will be responsible for handling dispute resolution cases independently. This includes designing and managing litigation strategy, providing practical legal advice to management and headquarters, and coordinating with multiple internal stakeholders as well as external counsel. The scope covers civil, commercial, administrative litigation, labor arbitration & litigation, and other Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) proceedings.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee various litigation matters, including commercial disputes, labor cases, and other contentious proceedings across Saudi Arabia.
• Develop and implement effective litigation strategies.
• Review and analyze claims, evidence, and legal documents to support case preparation and decision-making.
• Represent the company in interactions with courts, arbitration centers, and relevant authorities where applicable.
• Maintain an adequate and high-quality resource pool of external law firms, and work closely with external counsel to ensure effective case handling.
• Provide proactive legal advice to business teams on dispute risks and mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate internally with cross-functional teams on dispute-related matters.
• Monitor legal developments and provide updates on litigation trends and regulatory changes.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in litigation and dispute resolution.
• Proven capability to handle dispute resolution cases independently.
• Strong understanding of civil, commercial, administrative, and labor laws in Saudi Arabia.
• Experience in designing and managing litigation strategies.
