Logistics Management Team Lead

About the Role

Principal Buyer | Saudi Power Procurement Company is seeking a Logistics Management Team Lead to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves overseeing critical logistics operations to ensure seamless supply chain integration and operational efficiency within the power procurement sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise land and marine transportation plans, manage carrier relationships, secure necessary permits, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Contribute to the resolution of transportation issues and operational disruptions through contingency plans.
• Support collaboration with ARAMCO, SEC, and other external authorities for scheduling land and marine deliveries and logistics. Align activities with internal departments such as Procurement and Treasury for seamless supply chain integration.
• Oversee ERP entries for invoices, develop operational and five-year energy budgets, update reports, and monitor expenses. Define routes, set prices, and manage contracts in coordination with relevant parties.
• Implement the evaluation of unloading platforms, contractors, and licenses. Manage safety awareness workshops in coordination with the Security and Safety Department.
• Supervise fuel schedules and quantities, manage shipping schedules with ARAMCO Trading Company, and provide documentation and alignment of vessel dimensions with power plant facilities.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5-10 years of relevant experience in logistics management.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise complex transportation and logistics operations.
• Experience in managing relationships with external authorities and internal departments.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role requires active collaboration with various internal departments and external partners in a dynamic environment.
