About the Role

Taj Dhabi is seeking a Logistics Manager to oversee all logistics activities for the Qiddiya Project in Riyadh. This full-time position requires a professional with 5-10 years of experience to ensure the efficient and timely movement, storage, and distribution of materials, equipment, and manpower.

Role Overview

The Logistics Manager will be responsible for planning, directing, and managing all logistics operations to support uninterrupted construction activities. This includes overseeing logistics planning, site access, material flow, heavy equipment coordination, and warehouse operations, ensuring compliance with project schedules, quality standards, and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive logistics plans to support project construction.
  • Manage the transportation, delivery, storage, and distribution of construction materials, equipment, and consumables.
  • Plan and coordinate site access, traffic management, lifting operations, and vertical material movement.
  • Supervise daily logistics operations, including vehicle movements, heavy equipment deployment, and manpower transportation.
  • Coordinate with procurement, engineering, construction, warehouse, and subcontractor teams to ensure timely material availability.
  • Monitor logistics performance and optimize material flow to improve productivity and minimize delays.
  • Oversee warehouse operations, inventory management, and material handling procedures.
  • Ensure proper documentation of deliveries, permits, equipment records, and logistics reports.
  • Identify and resolve logistics constraints impacting project progress.
  • Ensure all logistics activities comply with project specifications, company procedures, contractual requirements, and HSE regulations.
  • Lead, supervise, and develop logistics personnel, drivers, operators, and support staff.
  • Prepare regular logistics reports, forecasts, and recommendations for operational improvement.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 7–12 years of experience in construction logistics on large-scale building, infrastructure, or mega projects.
  • Proven experience managing logistics operations for high-rise construction and complex project environments.
  • Strong knowledge of material handling, warehouse management, heavy equipment coordination, and construction logistics planning.
  • Experience with ERP systems (SAP or equivalent) and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Knowledge of Saudi Arabian logistics regulations and construction industry practices is preferred.

This role is based at project sites and corporate offices as required. It involves close collaboration with clients, consultants, architects, engineers, project management teams, and executive leadership within a fast-paced environment supporting large-scale and high-profile projects across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
