Join HIEC as a Building Maintenance Engineer – Team Leader!

As a key member of our engineering team, the Building Maintenance Engineer will lead, supervise, and coordinate the activities of the maintenance team, which includes technicians, electricians, plumbers, carpenters, and painters.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan and execute preventive and corrective maintenance schedules for all building systems.
  • Diagnose and repair faults in electrical systems including lighting, power distribution, and control panels.
  • Oversee and troubleshoot mechanical systems such as HVAC, plumbing, pumps, firefighting systems, and elevators.
  • Monitor spare parts inventory and coordinate procurement needs.
  • Prepare maintenance reports, logs, and technical documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintenance standards.
  • Coordinate with contractors and suppliers for specialized maintenance works.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum 57 years of experience in building maintenance, including at least 2 years in a supervisory/leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of the electrical and mechanical fields.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and maintenance management software (CMMS preferred).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
  • Experience managing maintenance in commercial, residential, or mixed-use buildings.
