About the Role

Nextpower is seeking a Maintenance Foremen - Electrical to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position reports to the Maintenance Manager and is responsible for overseeing and executing all electrical maintenance activities within the factory to ensure the reliable operation of machinery and equipment.

Role Overview

The Maintenance Foremen - Electrical will lead a team of technicians, manage the scheduling of preventive and corrective maintenance, and ensure the effective allocation of tasks and resources. This role is crucial for maintaining factory operations and adhering to company policies and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise the electrical maintenance team, ensuring effective task and resource allocation.
  • Monitor team performance and ensure adherence to company policies and safety regulations.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults, breakdowns, and malfunctions to minimize operational downtime.
  • Ensure compliance with maintenance codes, standards, and factory safety guidelines.
  • Implement lock-out/tag-out and other safety procedures during maintenance activities.
  • Oversee routine preventive and predictive maintenance of all electrical systems, machinery, and equipment.
  • Train, mentor, and support junior technicians and apprentices.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders, including Production and Quality departments, to support the maintenance strategy and achieve operational goals.
  • Implement new systems and modify machinery as required.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A relevant engineering diploma is preferred.
  • Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment is required.
  • Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in industrial/factory maintenance.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a supervisory or foreman role.
  • Strong knowledge of industrial and plant maintenance, control systems, PLCs, motors, and automation.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems and equipment.
  • Knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance methodologies.
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to fast-paced production environments.
  • Very good communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Work Environment and Additional Information

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh. The role requires a team player with strong organizational skills. Shift work and emergency call-outs may be required.
