The Role of Maintenance Technician

Saint-Gobain GCC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a part-time position requiring 2-5 years of experience. The role focuses on ensuring the operational reliability of machinery and equipment through comprehensive maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic faults.
• Respond promptly to breakdowns and support production teams in minimizing downtime.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and spare parts usage.
• Ensure compliance with safety procedures and maintenance standards.
• Support installation and commissioning of new equipment.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve equipment reliability.
• Participate in continuous improvement and energy-saving initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience in a maintenance technician role.
• Demonstrated ability to diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
• Experience with preventive maintenance programs and record-keeping.
• Familiarity with safety procedures and maintenance standards.

Work Environment and Type

This is a part-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The Maintenance Technician will work within a manufacturing environment, collaborating with production and engineering teams to ensure efficient operations.
