About the Role

EY is seeking a Manager to join its Audit team in Riyadh, KSA. This full-time position involves leading complex audit engagements and contributing to business growth. The role requires building and strengthening relationships with clients and internal stakeholders, ensuring the delivery of high-quality audit services. Key aspects include identifying and escalating risks, fostering a positive learning environment, and mentoring junior team members.

Key Responsibilities

As an Audit Manager, you will be responsible for managing the delivery of audit engagements. This includes defining the audit strategy in collaboration with Senior Managers, Associate Partners, or Partners, and executing it in accordance with Ernst & Young's policies and protocols. You will also personally conduct complex audit procedures when necessary and lead teams or parts of teams on engagements, depending on their scale. Additionally, you will assist in managing the financial aspects of engagements by organizing staffing, tracking fees, and communicating issues to project leaders. Participation in business development initiatives is also expected.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Seven years of professional experience in external audit.
  • A strong academic record and a professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CPA, or CA.
  • Experience working with a Big 4 accounting firm.
  • Experience with risk-based audit processes.
  • Demonstrated coaching, mentoring, and counselling experience.
  • Experience in the Middle East & North Africa (MENA) region.
  • Proficiency in the Arabic language.
