About the Role

Qiddiya is seeking a Manager- Facade Design to serve as the client’s technical representative for all façade design, engineering, and delivery activities. This full-time role is based in Riyadh, within the Riyadh Province of Saudi Arabia. The position requires 5-10 years of relevant experience.

Role Overview

The Manager- Facade Design will ensure that façade systems meet design intent, performance requirements, quality standards, and program objectives, while also safeguarding cost and risk. This involves comprehensive oversight and management throughout the design and delivery phases.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead façade design oversight, including technical reviews and coordination across various disciplines and interfaces.
• Manage consultants and contractors, which includes reviewing shop drawings, fabrication processes, and installation procedures.
• Oversee construction delivery, program management, and package-based procurement phases.
• Ensure quality assurance, compliance with relevant standards, and adherence to performance testing requirements.
• Manage project risk, conduct value engineering exercises, and facilitate stakeholder coordination.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture or Structural Engineering.
• A postgraduate qualification in façade engineering is considered an advantage.
• 5-7 years of relevant experience, preferably with exposure to GCC projects or large-scale mixed-use developments.
• Chartered status with a relevant professional body is preferred.
• Accreditation such as CWCT, LEED, or BREEAM is advantageous.
