About the Marketing Manager Role

Amgen is seeking a Marketing Manager to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time position requires a professional with 5-10 years of experience in marketing management, specifically within the cardiovascular therapeutic area. The role involves developing and executing brand strategies, leading marketing initiatives, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive brand performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop brand plans and long-range strategies aligned with strategic priorities and global/affiliate guidance.
  • Identify and analyze strategic options, recommending brand strategic choices and key tactical programs.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams on brand strategy development and execution, fostering key stakeholder partnerships.
  • Lead overall initiatives for the Repatha brand.
  • Ensure effective communication with relevant affiliate functions.
  • Collaborate with key European markets on co-creation of initiatives and best practice sharing.
  • Coordinate competitive intelligence gathering and drive competitive action plans.
  • Manage performance metrics for the Repatha brand.
  • Review brand business cases.
  • Collaborate with other Brand Directors within the EU Marketing & Commercial Excellence team on joint projects.
  • Lead and develop the Repatha Marketing Team.

Required Qualifications

  • More than 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
  • More than 3 years of experience as a Product Manager.
  • Fluency in English, both oral and written communication.
  • Documented track record of success in marketing management and product launches.
  • Experience in cardiovascular marketing.
  • Proficiency in MS Office programs.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience.
