MDM / VDI Engineer

About the Role

Mina Excellence is seeking an MDM / VDI Engineer (L2) to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role focuses on supporting and maintaining the organization’s virtual desktop and endpoint management environment. The successful candidate will ensure a secure, stable, and reliable end-user computing environment, with a primary focus on VMware Horizon, Omnissa Workspace ONE, VDI operations, and endpoint management.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and support VMware Horizon / Omnissa Horizon VDI environments.
• Administer and troubleshoot Workspace ONE and endpoint management solutions.
• Support virtual desktops, applications, user sessions, and related infrastructure.
• Perform L2 troubleshooting and resolve incidents related to VDI and endpoint management.
• Manage device enrollment, configuration, policies, compliance, and software deployment.
• Support Microsoft Intune / Endpoint Management where required.
• Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity.
• Perform patching, upgrades, and configuration changes in line with operational procedures.
• Investigate recurring issues and contribute to root-cause analysis.
• Maintain technical documentation, procedures, and knowledge-base articles.
• Work with L3 teams and vendors to escalate and resolve complex technical issues.
• Follow security, change management, and IT service management processes.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in VDI, EUC, endpoint management, or systems administration.
• Hands-on experience with VMware Horizon / Omnissa Horizon.
• Experience with Omnissa Workspace ONE.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Intune / Microsoft Endpoint Manager.

Required Skills

• Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows desktops and endpoint environments.
• Good understanding of Active Directory, Group Policy, networking, and virtualization concepts.
• Experience working within an ITIL/service management environment is preferred.
