About the Role
GSK Saudi Arabia is seeking a Medical Representative to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time position is dedicated to building strong relationships with healthcare professionals and delivering solutions that enhance patient health outcomes. The role aligns with GSK's commitment to supporting Vision 2030 and national development initiatives, including the training and development of Saudi National talent.
Role Purpose and Context
The Medical Representative will be responsible for engaging healthcare professionals within an assigned territory. The primary objective is to foster trust and provide valuable information and solutions that contribute to improved patient care. Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with healthcare professionals to address their patients' needs.
- Implement territory strategies through effective communication and the use of approved resources.
- Conduct scientific discussions and group meetings with healthcare professionals to share insights and knowledge.
- Provide timely feedback on market trends and customer insights to inform business decisions.
- Ensure all activities comply with company policies, local regulations, and standard operating procedures.
- Manage company resources responsibly and optimize their utilization.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Must be a Saudi National.
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy.
- A valid SCFHS license as a certified pharmacist in Saudi Arabia.
- Up to 2 years of experience in sales or a similar role engaging with healthcare professionals; fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
While not mandatory, the following qualifications are considered advantageous:
- Experience working in multinational pharmaceutical companies.
- Knowledge of sales and distribution processes.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
- Familiarity with software applications such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- A valid driving license.
Work Environment
This is a field-based role located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The position requires frequent visits to healthcare facilities within the assigned territory.
