The role of a medical secretary is one of the essential roles in the healthcare sector. The main objective of the medical secretary job is to provide administrative and organizational support in medical facility offices, manage and organize appointment schedules, and ensure the confidentiality of sensitive information.

Requirements:
  • Knowledge of theoretical, practical, and procedural support in administration: handling phone calls, scheduling appointments, managing correspondence, and reports for the medical director.
  • Proficiency in medical documentation: copying medical reports and other documents.
  • Coordination: coordinating communication between patients and doctors to ensure operations run smoothly.
  • Computer proficiency: mastering the use of computer programs and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
  • Understanding of medical terminology: using medical terms correctly and recognizing common medical procedures and protocols.
  • Data entry: typing speed of no less than 50 words per minute and accuracy in data entry.

Qualifications:
A diploma or bachelor's degree in medical secretarial studies, office administration, or languages and translation, with at least two years of professional experience in the field of medical secretarial work.
