About the Role

Four Points by Sheraton in Riyadh is seeking a Sales Manager I to proactively solicit and manage sales opportunities. This full-time position focuses on building long-term, value-based customer relationships to achieve sales objectives and personal sales goals. The role requires 0-1 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

The Sales Manager I is accountable for driving sales through various activities, ensuring effective turnover of business for service delivery, and assisting in leading daily sales operations. Key responsibilities include:

  • Proactively identifying and pursuing sales opportunities.
  • Collaborating with off-property sales channels to ensure coordinated sales efforts.
  • Building and strengthening relationships with existing and new customers through sales calls, events, and trade shows.
  • Developing community relationships to expand the customer base.
  • Managing relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensuring accurate and timely turnover of business to Event Management.
  • Participating in sales calls to acquire and close new business.
  • Executing operational aspects of booked business, including generating proposals and writing contracts.
  • Identifying new business to achieve revenue goals.
  • Understanding market trends, competitor strengths and weaknesses, and economic factors to maximize revenue.
  • Closing opportunities based on market conditions and location needs.
  • Understanding the target customer and their service expectations to offer effective business solutions.
  • Supporting the company’s service and relationship strategy to drive customer loyalty.
  • Servicing customers to grow account share.
  • Executing and supporting company customer service standards.
  • Providing excellent customer service consistent with daily service basics.
  • Setting a positive example for guest relations and interacting with guests for feedback.

Market Understanding and Customer Focus

This role requires a thorough understanding of the market, including competitors' strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, and supply and demand dynamics. The Sales Manager I will leverage this knowledge to identify and close the best opportunities for the location. A key aspect of the role involves understanding the location’s primary target customer and their service expectations, enabling the delivery of tailored business solutions.

Customer Service Excellence

A core component of this position is providing exceptional customer service. The Sales Manager I will support the company’s service and relationship strategy, aiming to drive customer loyalty through outstanding service experiences. This includes executing and upholding the company’s customer service standards and setting a positive example in guest relations, while actively seeking guest feedback to improve product quality and service levels.
