About the Role

Core Responsibilities

The Sales Manager I will be responsible for driving sales opportunities by establishing success factors and managing sales activities. This includes coordinating with external sales channels, building and strengthening relationships with existing and new customers through various engagement activities, and developing community relationships to expand the customer base. The role also involves managing key internal and external stakeholder relationships and providing accurate operational reports to hotel management.

Sales Management and Execution

Key duties include participating in sales visits to secure new business and close deals. The role also entails executing and supporting the operational aspects of forecasting, which involves generating proposals, writing contracts, and managing customer correspondence. A primary focus is on achieving individual and hotel revenue targets by identifying new business opportunities.

Market Insight and Customer Focus

This position requires a thorough understanding of market trends, competitor advantages and disadvantages, economic shifts, and supply/demand dynamics to inform sales strategies. The Sales Manager I must identify and capitalize on opportunities that align with hotel needs and market conditions. A deep understanding of the hotel's target customers, their business needs, and concerns is essential to provide effective business solutions and superior service.

Customer Service Excellence

Providing excellent customer service is paramount to enhance customer loyalty and market share. This involves supporting company service strategies and standards during every customer interaction. The Sales Manager I will build strong customer relationships, interact with clients to gather feedback on product quality and service standards, and ensure daily service fundamentals are consistently met.
