About the Role
DXC Technology is seeking a Mobile Device Management - UEM Technology Support professional to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role is part of the Modern Workplace Device Services team, focused on enabling customer Modern Device Management transformation journeys through best practices, innovation, and technical leadership. The position is responsible for delivering technical leadership in the creation, testing, and deployment of technology solutions designed to meet customer business needs.
Role Overview
As a Modern Device Management Engineer, you will be a multi-skilled professional with hands-on experience in Intune and Modern Workplace Management. You will be a key team member responsible for delivering end-to-end support services to clients, managing enterprise Mobile Device Management (MDM) and Unified Endpoint Management (UEM) platforms. This includes the installation, deployment, updating, and monitoring of application usage on company-deployed mobile and endpoint devices, alongside providing comprehensive technical support.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage enterprise Mobile Device Management (MDM) and Unified Endpoint Management (UEM) platforms, including installation, deployment, updates, and monitoring of application usage on company-deployed mobile and endpoint devices.
- Provide technical support to customers via telephone, web, and face-to-face interactions.
- Install, diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and upgrade software and modern devices to ensure optimal mobile and endpoint system performance.
- Take ownership of actions and identify innovative methods to improve service agility and efficiency.
- Continuously acquire new skills and knowledge to enhance service delivery.
- Troubleshoot and work with SCCM versions 1611/1706/1806/1902 and later, CB/Altiris, or DXCCAE.ServiceNow, SM9.
- Perform application deployment and monitoring.
- Execute patch management tasks.
- Resolve Release Management incidents on SWD tools.
- Handle client installations and monitoring.
- Independently generate reports and manage device health.
- Manage incident management and service request processing, resolving issues independently.
- Be available to work on a 24x7 basis as required.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of 4 years of overall experience in Information Technology (IT).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience in Microsoft Endpoint Manager and/or Intune.
- Basic Windows OS and Networking knowledge.
- Basic knowledge of incident management principles.
- Basic knowledge of Active Directory (AD) and different AD groups.
- Basic infrastructure knowledge of Software Distribution (SWD) tools.
- Basic debugging skills.
Required Skills and Abilities
- Proficiency with SCCM, Altiris, ServiceNow, and SM9.
- Solid understanding of Windows OS and Networking concepts including DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, Subnetting, IPv4/IPv6.
- Experience with Incident Management, Application Deployment, Monitoring, and Patch Management.
- Knowledge of Active Directory (AD) and AD Groups.
- Experience with Client Installation, Reporting, and Device Health Management.
- Proficiency in Service Request Handling and Ticketing Tools (SNOW, Remedy, DXCSM).
- Familiarity with Microsoft Endpoint Manager and Intune.
- Understanding of Cloud Technologies, Microsoft Azure, O365 Licensing, and Microsoft Defender.
- Experience with iOS, Android, and Windows application signing and provisioning.
- Understanding of Network Infrastructure.
- Strong Problem Solving and Analytical Skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Capacity for multi-tasking, adapting to changing priorities, setting priorities, and meeting deadlines.
- Effective technical, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to adopt and learn quickly.
