About the Senior IT Support Specialist Role

Mirai is seeking a Senior IT Support Specialist to manage and enhance its IT operations and endpoint management environment. This full-time position, based in Riyadh, requires a candidate with 5-10 years of experience who can take ownership of systems from end-to-end in a fast-paced setting.

Role Overview and Responsibilities

The Senior IT Support Specialist will be responsible for the administration, improvement, and scaling of the company's device management, collaboration tools, and core IT infrastructure. This role involves hands-on management and strategic implementation to ensure systems are efficient, secure, and up-to-date.

  • Administer and support Google Workspace, including user lifecycle, security settings, and organizational policies.
  • Manage and optimize Slack administration, including workspace configuration, integrations, permissions, and user management.
  • Support and troubleshoot network-related issues, demonstrating an intermediate understanding of networking concepts (LAN/WAN, VPNs, firewalls, DNS, DHCP).
  • Deploy, manage, and maintain an endpoint management / RMM solution (*, Ninja, Jamf, or similar).
  • Oversee patch management, OS updates, and software deployments across company devices.
  • Lead or support the implementation of a scalable endpoint management strategy.
  • Ensure systems are secure, up-to-date, and aligned with IT best practices.
  • Provide escalation-level support and guidance for complex IT issues.
  • Document processes, configurations, and standards to enhance operational efficiency.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess a strong foundation in IT support and system administration. The ideal applicant will have a proven track record of managing critical IT systems and driving improvements.

  • 3-5 years of hands-on IT experience, preferably in a dynamic environment.
  • Extensive experience administering Google Workspace.
  • Significant experience administering Slack.
  • Working or intermediate knowledge of networking fundamentals.
  • Proven experience deploying or managing an RMM or endpoint management solution (*, Ninja, Jamf, Intune, or similar).
  • Experience managing patching, updates, and device compliance across multiple machines.
  • Prior experience working at a Managed Service Provider (MSP) is highly preferred.

Desirable Skills and Experience

Additional experience and familiarity with certain environments and practices will be considered advantageous.

  • Experience supporting both macOS and Windows environments.
  • Familiarity with security best practices for endpoint and identity management.
  • Experience supporting remote or hybrid teams.
