Nurse Specialist

Job Objective

Provide safe and high-quality nursing care to patients according to approved policies and procedures, and contribute to enhancing patient safety and improving the quality of health services.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients according to approved professional standards.
• Assess patients' health status and develop and implement an appropriate nursing plan.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments and monitor their response according to approved policies.
• Monitor vital signs and document nursing observations and procedures in the medical record.
• Coordinate with the medical team to ensure continuity of care.
• Educate patients and their families about the treatment plan and necessary care.
• Apply infection control, patient safety, and risk management policies.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to professional ethics.
• Participate in quality and continuous improvement programs and education and training.
• Report medical incidents and errors according to approved procedures.
• Perform any other tasks within the scope of specialization assigned by the direct supervisor.
