About the Role

Amazon is seeking an Operations Tech SME for Quick Commerce to support high-growth, technology-enabled operations. This full-time role is based in Riyadh and requires 2-5 years of experience. The Operations Tech SME will serve as a key liaison between Operations, Product, and Tech teams to ensure seamless launches, stable system workflows, and an excellent customer experience.

Role Purpose and Context

In this position, you will be instrumental in troubleshooting system issues, validating operational accuracy, and ensuring process readiness. Your contributions will directly enable successful day-one performance for new sites or product launches, maintaining operational integrity and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead operational readiness efforts and support launch activities, verifying that workflows, tools, and processes function as intended.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues by collaborating closely with Tech, Product, and Operations teams.
• Conduct structured testing and validate process accuracy, identifying potential gaps prior to launch.
• Support data validation related to operational workflows and customer-facing commitments.
• Coordinate with cross-functional partners to resolve defects and ensure readiness for go-live.
• Monitor performance post-launch, escalate issues as needed, and drive timely root-cause resolution.
• Identify recurring patterns, propose long-term solutions, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Communicate clearly with stakeholders, providing timely updates, documentation, and status reports.

Required Experience and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess 2-5 years of relevant experience. A strong understanding of operations technology and the ability to bridge communication between different technical and operational teams are essential for success in this role.
