About the Role

Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking an experienced Manager - Operational Readiness to oversee the successful operational launches of projects within the entertainment and leisure sector. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Riyadh Province, and requires 5-10 years of experience. The role is crucial for coordinating cross-functional readiness activities, assessing operational capabilities, and driving process improvements to ensure seamless project openings and optimal guest experiences.

Role Purpose and Context

The Manager - Operational Readiness will be responsible for ensuring that all operational aspects of new projects are prepared and functional prior to launch. This involves close collaboration with various teams to identify and address potential operational challenges, thereby guaranteeing a smooth transition from development to operational phases and delivering high-quality guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute operational readiness plans that align with organizational objectives and project timelines.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to define operational requirements and resolve any identified gaps before project launch.
  • Conduct readiness assessments, perform risk analysis, and develop mitigation plans to ensure all operational units are prepared.
  • Design and implement training programs to equip staff for their operational roles and to foster service excellence.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for operational readiness and post-launch performance.
  • Drive continuous improvement by analyzing operational processes and recommending enhancements.
  • Champion guest-centric operational strategies to enhance visitor satisfaction.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Hospitality, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in operational readiness, operations management, or similar roles, with a preference for experience in entertainment or hospitality sectors.
  • Proven experience in risk identification and mitigation within operational contexts.
  • Experience in designing and delivering staff training programs.
  • Familiarity with the Saudi Arabian business environment and culture is preferred.
