About the People Operations Associate Role
Lean Technologies is seeking a People Operations Associate to join its People function. This role is responsible for the execution and compliance of key HR processes that support the company's workforce across multiple markets. The position requires a highly organized individual with a strong focus on structured execution and attention to detail. This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, with an experience requirement of 2-5 years.
Role Overview and Responsibilities
As a People Operations Associate, you will manage and execute essential processes that ensure the smooth operation of the employee lifecycle. This includes overseeing immigration and relocation procedures, maintaining HRIS accuracy, and managing onboarding and offboarding activities. You will also be responsible for tracking critical deadlines related to visas, licenses, and regulatory compliance across different markets, ensuring that no detail is overlooked. The role involves direct interaction with employees to address queries regarding benefits, leave, and documentation, as well as supporting monthly reporting and payroll data preparation.
- Support visa, immigration, and relocation processes for UAE and KSA, collaborating with Legal, Office Managers, and external PROs.
- Monitor visa expirations, license renewals, and regulatory deadlines across all markets.
- Maintain accurate employee data within the HRIS and visa tracking logs.
- Coordinate end-to-end onboarding logistics, including contracts, IDs, system access, and first-day readiness.
- Manage offboarding processes, ensuring all documentation and system updates are completed.
- Address employee inquiries concerning benefits, leave policies, and required documentation.
- Assist with monthly headcount and people reporting, including the creation of dashboards and trackers.
- Support payroll data preparation and conduct accuracy checks.
- Identify opportunities to automate manual People Operations processes and implement efficiency-improving tools.
- Contribute to the documentation and enhancement of People processes.
Qualifications and Experience
The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in People Operations or HR administration, with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. Hands-on experience with visa and immigration workflows in both the UAE and KSA is highly preferred. Proficiency in working with HRIS systems, spreadsheets, and checklists is essential. The role demands a high level of organization, proactivity, and a process-oriented mindset. Strong written communication skills are necessary for documentation and employee interactions. Reliability and thoroughness are critical, especially in handling compliance-related tasks.
- Minimum of 2 years in People Operations or HR administration.
- Hands-on experience with UAE and KSA visa and immigration workflows; knowledge of both markets is strongly preferred.
- Comfortable working with HRIS systems, spreadsheets, and checklists.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive employee data accurately.
- Highly organized, proactive, and process-oriented.
- Strong written communication skills.
- Reliable and thorough approach to work.
- Familiarity with payroll input and review processes.
- Exposure to HR reporting tools or dashboard creation is beneficial.
- Experience supporting distributed teams across multiple countries is advantageous.
- Prior experience in a startup or fast-paced environment is a plus.
- A strong documentation instinct and interest in career growth within People Operations.
